Game Play Edit

The chess birds move like chess pieces in Angry Birds Chess. The map will immediately become a grid. No birds will be shown, as you will only use pieces. Selecting an appropriate square for the piece to travel to will also determine force, for example, the bishop moving two squares will go faster when released than a bishop moving only one.

Pawn (star)(tnt) Edit

The first move will allow you to move the bird twice, and if a pig is in the range of a diagonal on the slingshot, the pawn can move to pop it.

Rook (blues)(corporal) Edit

The rook can fly straight in any direction as far as the map goes. Then, they are released to fall and fly.

Bishop (chuck)(foreman pig) Edit

Can move diagonally only, otherwise the same rules apply as with the rook.

Knight (Hal)(sword + shield pig) Edit

The knight will just teleport to the location selected, provided the player drew a path. The knight will destroy everything in that path, except for pigs, but they may fall as a result of that damage. If there is a pig in the area of the space the knight lands on, that pig will pop.

Queen (Matilda)(girl pig) Edit

Can move like a bishop or rook.

King (red)(King pig) Edit

Moves just one space diagonal or straight one square.

Worlds Edit

Can move diagonally only, otherwise the same rules apply as with the rook.

Knight Edit

The knight will just teleport to the location selected, provided the player drew a path. The knight will destroy everything in that path, except for pigs, but they may fall as a result of that damage. If there is a pig in the area of the space the knight lands on, that pig will pop.

The only extra rule is that the flying general is the mighty Eagle and can be used in any world. It can be used every hour only but can be purchased so that it can be used every 45, 30, 15, 10, or 5 minutes, or can be used at any time with another purchase. Also, there is no "Palace" restraints.

Just like Indian or Persian except for one piece:

3D Chess Edit

After finding golden eggs in different levels, players may play the bonus levels with 3D chess. If a player were to complete every one, they'd unlock bomb pieces, which explode like the black bird.
